Students living on the Kitsap Peninsula are served by three area school districts. The North Kitsap School District includes the towns of Poulsbo, Kingston, Indianola, Hansville and Suquamish. Approximately 7,000 students are served by this district in the north. The Central Kitsap School District, which serves about 12,000 students, covers the communities of Silverdale, Bremerton and Seabeck. Port Orchard is served by the South Kitsap School District.
